After graduating from Tulane in 1965 on a Sunday, Bill started as the first basketball coach at Rummel Monday morning and stayed 58 years. 

His career evolved from sports to business, computer literacy and photography, his true passion. He was the moderator of the Raider yearbook and mentor and teacher to more than 50 professional photographers.  In his honor, our family has partnered with Archbishop Rummel to form the Bill Arthurs Memorial Scholarship fund. This scholarship will go to a student with an interest in Photography and will continue his legacy, we hope, for another 58 years.
